About The Beyond

Beyond the Pale is written by David Jonathan Gross, an Ohio native who studied Theology, English Literature, French, and Writing at various schools in Southwest Missouri from 1999 to 2007, during that time earning a B.A. in Bible from Central Bible College, a B.A. in English Literature from Evangel University, and a M.A. in Writing from Missouri State University. In January of 2008, David joined the United States Army, where he currently serves as a tactical signals intelligence collector while continuing to study and attempt to develop as a writer and thinker. He recently returned from his second combat rotation to Afghanistan.
